Benefits of Scaffolding: Students can take risks without anxiety (also called lowering the affective filter), students will sharpen their memory, attention and thinking skills and be able to process information, evaluate, understand cause and effect and make comparisons with the information they are given. Students will be able to understand tasks that involve complex language.
